Coronavirus (COVID-19) affected more than 2,585,000 people globally. Around 179,000 people have lost their lives. More than 705,000 people have been recovered successfully. As we all know that Coronavirus (COVID-19) has affected human life so badly. Millions of people are isolated in their houses. Business is closed, food prices increased, and many countries are facing a shortage of food and medical supplies.

But Coronavirus (COVID-19) has many positive effects on the environment, many people are saying that Earth is healing itself, here are a few examples.

Air Pollution:

A large drop in air pollution is one of the major effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak on the global environment. It was first observed in China by NASA at the end of 2019. According to the research by Stanford University researcher Marshal Burke, this drop in air pollution may save more than 80,000 human lives in China. As many countries implemented lockdown to reduce the spread of the virus the air and road traffic are less and air quality is improved. The Earth’s ozone layer is also recovering.

Green Gas Emission:

Many countries ordered to shutdown educational institutes, businesses, and factories. According to a study at the start of the year 2020 emissions fell 25% in China. The Ministry of Ecology and Environment stated that “good quality air” increased by 11.4% as compared to last year in China. Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) emissions disappearing over many countries around the globe.
